Frodo was developed to reproduce Commodore 64 video with a higher degree of precision than existing emulators at the time. It has now been superceded by projects such as Power64, but nevertheless still provides a solid and functional emulation.

Micro64 aims to be the most accurate Commodore 64 emulator available. It's still in the pre-alpha stages of development, but work is progressing quickly.

VirtualC64 is an open-source Commodore 64 emulator written in Cocoa, C++, and Objective-C. It was designed to have a user-friendly interface, and uses cycle-accurate emulation to achieve high compatibility, but is still in the early stages of development compared to more established C64 emulators such as Vice and Frodo.
