My parents just put on DVD, a very old family film of the old days, from their 60s/70s filmcam. The people who did it for them, also put it online for them to watch also. They made it available to their 3 sons, I want to know how to pull the video off there & onto my computer. None of the Firefox add-ons seem to do the trick

Honestly, it depends on the site and the tech they used to embed it online.

Have you tried FlashGot for Firefox? I use it for pulling all kinds of stuff all the time.

In Safari, Use the activity window to find the largest file on the video page, then Shift-Click it to download it…
