TOPIC: How to compile Dolphin (Gamecube Emu) for Mac OS X

The discs wouldn't play anyway, even if your drive could eat and spit them out correctly. You know, Gamecube discs use full disc encryption to a point that normal DVD drives don't even recognize them. The only way to dump the games was a bug in the game Phantasy Star Online which allowed homebrew code to be run. That way people created an ISO dumping utility which dumped the games over LAN using the cube itself.

Sorry but swing and a miss. Certain drives can read the discs... and the encryption has been hacked.

So while it may not work in the Macbook directly.. it is doable.

Whoops. Yeah, I missed that. Good thing is that there are nice ATAPI->USB adaptors out there. Bad thing is that they need an external power source for those 3,5'' connectors.

You can use a Wii to rip GC games.

Does anyone have any idea why vsync doesn't work?

Latest build fixes the vsync issue.
