I have tested it, and it works perfectly! According to the article, it is based on MAME 0.139u1.

The previous iPhone version iMAME is based on 0.375b, but seems to be older. Can anyone tell me where can I find the release notes for this? Why is 0.139u1 newer than 0.375b?

MAME 0.139u1 is actually a year and a half old. The release notes are at the bottom of the 0.140 change log.

What's this 0.375b? There was a 0.37b5, back in 2000.

The Gridlee version seems newer than iMAME, although I'm not familiar enough with the development to confirm that. Compatibility seems better whatever the case.

Probably a typo though.

0.140 is newer than 0.37 because 140 is bigger than 37. Note that there are no dots between the digits following the zero.

Wow! In Number system 0.140 should be equal to 0.14, thus smaller than 0.37.

Never thought of that though. After 0.99 they should have made it 1.0 and thus 1.4 by now.
